Over the last month Donny Burlin has booked legendary Baltimore DJ Thommy Davis, DJ Oji, Karizma, and Biskit. This past Friday(8.29.03) @ 930 N. Charles st. was the last night for Donny Burlin's "Soulful Sounds" party and Donny, Biskit, & Karizma sent it out with a bang. They packed the House with the same feverish energy as when DJ Oji played a couple of weeks before. But this time I kept my yelling in check(lol). I love all the Baltimore House headz and want to thank them for coming out to this party over the last 4 weeks. For me this wasn't a campaign to pack the House and make a lot of money for this club. But to celebrate Donny's efforts, give our House family a few more nice parties, and let the owner see just what he will be missing in a few shorts weeks.

This whole weekend was like one big family reunion for me. An "Underground Family" (with kissin' cousins ☺). I love all the "hooking up" going on now at all the House parties. Kind of like it use to be.....You got someone to dance with and can meet someone if you're single. Just to show you how much of a family I consider this thing we call House here's a list of people who came out or contributed to supporting the scene this past Labor Day weekend, and I didn't write this down either. I just know the names.
