Soul Fiesta (Thurs- 3.27.03) @ Latin Palace

After only 4 full months of publishing the blackbookscafe.com on the web we have made a move to join the other forces that is trying to revitalize the House scene in Baltimore.  A few days after everyone returns from the Winter Music Conference we will be having our Soul Fiesta at the Latin Palace.  The open minded owner(Enrique) is giving us a chance to bring House to his club the way we want to.  So our resident super House dj's JLee(Jason Lee-www.bmorehouse.com) and Henry da' Man(B.I.T.S.) will be mixing deep, soulful, House music with a few of the Latin vibes that House is known to include.  We will also be presenting Jason Din of Baltimore on percussions/congas .  Come and experience a night that will take you into Friday at work feeling so good.  We'll give you something to sing about when you return to work the last day of the week.  It's only $8 for men and $5 for the ladies.  On Friday and Saturday the Latin Palace is known for having excellent salsa dancers and now we will try to show the club the best House heads and dancers in Baltimore.  The club is located only 5 minutes from downtown Baltimore or Little Italy at Broadway and Fleet Sts. We are having this on a Thursday because this was the only night the club had available.  We want to tell you that collaborated on a cd listening party for DJ Pope's new full length cd on day after a small snow storm and the following Baltimore stars(dj's/artists/producers)  showed up--Ultra Nate', Jay Stenhower(Basement Boys), DJ Karizma, Sheila Ford, Marti St. Michaels, Geoffrey C, DJ Patrick, DJ Oji, Henry da' Man, Jason Din, Lynette Smith, etc.  So don't miss this one as you may be standing next to a House artist that has sold thousands of records.
