Tony Humphries plays at Five!! I'm going to be as direct as I can about this night. We went to Five in DC after a small snow fall. People were on a crowded dance floor smoking, drinking, and some stupidly drunk. I suggest that 75% of the people there didn't even know who Tony Humphries was and didn't care what records got played......just as long as they have a place to drink and smoke and stupidly bump into other people. Not everyone but enough to notice. I do thank club Five and M3 for putting us on the guest list. Also for bringing top outside dj's to the region for some to hear.
We frustratingly left club Five and walked around the corner to club Red to hear dj Oji. He was celebrating his 2 year anniversary at the club. I must admit that I should have went to Red in the first place to celebrate another year of Oji's residency. Although Red has a similar clientele to Five, every time I've been to Red I get what I need in hearing House music and the people come to dance.
