He was helping with the filming of a documentary at the Spec's event as well as the Westend Records after party. I had to ask him "Whatchu' know about House music". He was cool......."I'm a House head from way back".
This picture really doesn't tell everything in this shot. It was actually someone else taking a picture of a bunch of us Baltimore/DC heads in front of the party chanting "Baltimore, Baltimore,.....Odell's, Odell's, Odell's..". I was already in the shot and wanted to capture as much of this as I could. That's my arm extended to take this shot while someone took a picture of all of us. This was the party where anyone who was a little bit of somebody eventually came to. It was like a family reunion of House heads from all regions all vibing with each other.
