| Midtown Records is a new source for underground dance music. We were greeted very nicely by one of the owners as he gave us a tour of the store and how the different genres are placed around the store. They have vinyl, cd's, dj accessories, and listening stations. The store is located on 14 ½ E. Hamilton St. It is off of Charles st., after Franklin st. but before Center st. Just make a right turn at the art deco furniture store "Noveau" and the store is down the street on the left. Meters are not in effect after 6pm. It was nice to see records, cd's, and advertisements for local House artists(DJ Spen, POJI records, etc.) as well as national/internation. Please support them as they also support the Baltimore Underground scene. The owners also put records out under the Tribe Limited label. |
