Marketpro Computer Show and Sale (Timonium Fair grounds)

The computer show and sale held at the Timonium Fair ground exhibition halls is one of the, if not the best, resources for purchasing computer hardware/software in the state of Maryland.  It has more products than Best Buy, Circuit City, and maybe CompUSA.  You can find new and re-furbished products for excellent below market prices.  This isn't a "techie" showcase for "nerdy" patrons but people of all races and technical backgrounds.  They come to buy computers, laptops, printers, memory, parts, software, PDA's, flat screen monitors, etc.  We even saw very nice Windows 98/ME laptops for under $500 on more than one occasion.  The show happens about every 5th weekend (Sat. & Sun.) at the Timonium Fair ground.  Sometimes they have smaller shows at other locations every now and then.  Admission is $7 with $1 off if you have a coupon from one of the free publications like Computer User or City Paper.  One tip for shopping at the show is to go on Saturday so if something is defective you can take it back on Sunday.  Also take your time and see what all the vendors have to sell.  A lot of first time visitors get to the show and purchase something within 10 minutes, later to find out that they could have got the product cheaper.  Happy shopping.
